Dead by Daylight is a wildly popular asynchronous 4v1 multiplayer horror game released in 2016 that has become the ultimate hall of fame for the genre. Developed by Behaviour Interactive, the game places players in a nightmarish realm ruled by an ancient, malevolent force known as The Entity. In each trial, one player takes on the role of a brutal, unstoppable Killer, while the other four play as desperate Survivors fighting to escape with their lives.

Survivors must work together efficiently to locate and repair five mechanical generators spread across the map to power the exit gates, all while running in first-person view to maintain situational awareness.
