Skulker is a cozy, casual indie RPG and creature-collecting game released out of Early Access in December 2025. Developed and published by Krow Game, the title features a highly unique premise: you play as an intergalactic bounty hunter who has suffered a head injury, forgotten their stressful job, and decided to abandon their duties entirely to spend their time fishing across a colorful alien planet.

For PC players, the game utilizes a unique board-game-inspired exploration loop. To navigate the planet’s nine distinct regions, you roll three dice and calculate your steps to land on specific tiles, which range from standard fishing holes to special card-event spaces. Once you cast your line, you tackle various quick-reaction mini-games to successfully reel in your catch. Over 2,600 unique elements and alien marine creatures are available to collect. You can reinvest a resource called Sand of Strings to permanently upgrade fishing tiles, customize distinct equipment builds, and take on commissions for eccentric alien NPCs.

A standout feature is the full desktop aquarium support, allowing you to use your captured alien fish as an active, customized PC wallpaper screensaver. The title requires just 2 GB of available storage space to install.
